velum paper

velum paper

Since I am on a VERY strick budget for my wedding, I am going to do the invitations myself.

I was going to use stock paper on back and print on velum paper and attach both with a ribbon on top (hole punch).

Stupid question I am sure:
Does the velum paper 'wrinkles', gets wavy going though the laser printer (with the heat)?

I printed on vellum to make my memory candle and it came out beautiful. Buy a couple of sheets and give it a try. Good luck!

FYI: Michael's sells invitation kits just like the idea you described. You might spend a little bit more but it will save your sanity.

It comes out great, just make sure to let it try...the wording will smear if not dry...I made that mistake!

Re: velum paper

there's a paper store in Farmingdale on Route 110.... Shoot.. can't remember the name of it... VERY VERY Inexpensive paper - you might want to check them out if you have time. They have a very large selection.

Anyone recall the name of this place?

Do you know where on 110? I know the area pretty well.
