So, we met with Velvet Memorial Day weekend, and, we booked them the same day. We gave them the deposit by CC over the phone, and FH was told we would get the contract in the mail.
Problem is, we don't have it yet. Should I call? Should I wait longer? I know it's busy season, but, I kind of think we should have it by now.
Thoughts?

theres no harm in calling..id call
theyre prob busy and may have forgotten to put it out into the mail...or gotten lost in the mail so id call just to find out

I booked with Velvet and got my contract in the mail two months later. I did call once and e-mailed once during the two months. Both times, I was told they were a little backed up, but the contract will be on its way and my date was 'in the book.'

No problem, I was actually on here doing the same thing after a month went by with no contract, and there were other girls who were waiting for theirs as well. Then a few people got theirs around the same time, so I am guessing they might wait until they have a bunch of contracts and mail them out together. I hope yours comes soon!

do not get nervous.. that is bad on his part that you have not recieved the contract yet!!! you need to review it.. im guessing you didnt sign it yet either

Nope. All we have is the initial paperwork that he filled out during our meeting with prices... etc.
