thanks girls i visited with both places this week and would like to make my decision and book by friday. i really liked both places and am very torn... i felt like duet was giving us the short stick since we look very young. we had to ask to see albums they didnt offer to show us the sample video. these are things i dont feel i should have to ASK to see... they shoul dbe trying to SELL me their service. i dont know i love both of their work although i do feel like im getting much more for my $$ with velvet!
we only looked at Velvet and Duet. Although Duet has a great reputation and the quality of their work looks good, we went with Bob at Velvet as we felt very comfortable (emotionally) with him. I felt like he had a relaxing personality that I know I will need the day of. I know I will be anxious about the details, and felt that Bob would be able to keep the calm. Good luck in your decision
I looked at oth and I loved Bob at Velvet, but when I saw Duet's work (specifically Woo's book) I was in tears, that plus the video, FH was like OMG what's wrong with you, but I just knew they were exactly what I wanted...
I heard Duet is amazing and I have had the opportunity to see people's proof...they were beautiful
I booked with Duet last night. I went to see both Velvet and Duet over the weekend and did research about many others, and Duet's style and the album quality is what sold us. The prices were the same for what we wanted (we are not getting video so I can't help there). If you have any other questions please feel free to FM me.
I didn't get to meet with Duet unfortuately. You'll hear great things about both so I don't think you can really go wrong. I think you should go by who's style you like best and are the most comfortable working with. Your photographer is going to be following you around all day!!!

I picked duet..cause i loved their work and they offered more in their packages for my money!
