i seem to get a lot of calls from dj/bands/entertainmnet companies. keep in mind, my dj is booked. i've only spoken with one dj, and we booked them that night. i've been getting calls since we got engaged in nov of 2003. i tell them not to call again, and that works, but i'm wondering if anyone else is going through this. if so, what vendors call you?

I get a lot of calls from make-up ladies and Wedding planners. For some reasons, their calls always go straight to voicemail. Why does that happen? But I would never use a vendor that called me like that. I hate telemarketers!

I've gotten a ton of calls from both DJ's and bands. I don't remember which ones they were though. It started as soon as I signed up on here, how long does it take before they stop calling?

you literally have to say to them, take me off your list, i no longer want to get calls from you. they should stop after that

My thoughts, exactly. I don't feel comfortable with them calling me.

i got a bunch of calls once i registered on LIW... i then put in all 0's for my phone number and the calls stopped...

I have gotten the same two calling me every week almost, and somehow I always missed the call. Finally, I spoke to one and told them I already booked someone, but I have yet to speak to the band that calls CONSTANTlY!! Its soooo ANNOYING!!

three DJ's have called me so far. I think they got my name from a wedding expo I went to. I just say I've already booked with another DJ and they quickly say goodbye and hang up.

UGH!!!! I feel for you. I haven't gotten the phone calls but my email account is STUFFED daily.
Edited to add:
That (email) is okay b/c they come with a link to vendor's website so I can check them out.

OMG I am soo glad some on came up with this thread. I thought I was going crazy. All day and everyday, calls, calls, calls, on my cell phone! So annoying, they just don't stop, and they leave message after message, and emails When does the madness stop!

I god alot of those - and they keep calling until you call them back ....it finally stoped but in 2 mts I will be engaged a year
