Vendor Commitment Issues
Hi ladies,I'm new to the board. Reading your threads has already been super helpful. I'm getting married at the Bellport Country Club on 3/29/14. We've booked the church and the RH and all of a sudden the flowers, music, photo/video vendors are giving me such anxiety. I've read some horror stories and know I can avoid whatever may happen but for some reason picking vendors has totally become overwhelming. We went to a vendor show case at the RH and I left feeling more confused.
Any questions that you asked that helped you know you were picking the right person/ place? (Obviously considering budget and all)
Thanks!

Vendor Commitment Issues
I have HUGE vendor commitment issues!!! I saw over 30 venues, met with about 15 photographers, and started to go insane. My mom suggested I see 3 of every other vendor, and if I like one of them, go with it. I tried that, with florists, and it worked.I've found that it's easiest to make decisions when I connect with the vendor. I've also found that when I meet with the actual vendor (eg, the actual photographer I'm going to be working with) as opposed to a sales rep, I feel much more connected to that vendor and more ready to book them. If you need any quotes, FM me, I can send you everything I have.

Don't stress, good luck!!

I am having commitment issues with a DJ. I am so afraid of making the wrong choice because it has such a huge impact on the wedidng. I can totally understand where you are coming from. We also checked out many venues. Good Luck.

Vendor Commitment Issues
I think we all have our own commitment fears when it comes to vendors. We just want everything to be perfect. I just keep reminding myself that nothing in life is 100% perfect, and that I can try to get as close as possible, but as long as, at the end of the day, I get to marry FH, the wedding is going to be a success.

FH and I are ALL about researching. I look at reviews constantly. The biggest issue for us was the florist. After meeting with multiple florists, we knew which one was the right one for us.Definitely meet as many as you can if you are unsure. Once you meet them and click with them, you'll know!

Fh is having major commitment issues with venues. And it's driving me crazy. I want to be booked already so I can move on to other things.

Vendor Commitment Issues
I knew who to pick by how they answered my questions. I ask A LOT of questions, and can get really overwhelmed. The vendors that were patient and answered all my questions friendly and fully got picked.I couldn't believe that some vendors weren't willing to take the time to answer my questions, were short and rude with me. Told me just to look on their site, etc. instead of answering my questions fully. Of course I could read your site, but if I see you in person or call it's because I am overwhelmed and would like YOU to answer! :/ Sorry, kind of rant there, but that is how I picked my vendors. When I felt comfortable speaking with them and knew they were going to answer my questions, because since I've booked them I've had to call back a few times with questions.

bellport CC is so beautiful! everyone in my family has there bridal shower there brunch style. i would make a list of the vendors you need to book in order of importance and move one at a time! that's what I'm doing. it will help you keep your head on straight! anytime I get overwhelmed I take a week off from planning then pick back up
