I booked several vendors for my november wedding. Between now and then, how often do I have to communicate with them? (photo, video, band, etc).

Re: Vendor Communication
I haven't really communicated that much with my vendors since I booked them...unless I had a specific question about something.
Actually I'll probably be calling my florist at some point, he said we should be getting our sample sometime this month and I haven't heard from him yet.

Re: Vendor Communication
i agree with the others .... you don't need to speak with them unless you have a question.
only thing i'd do is call them a few weeks before the wedding (if they don't contact you first) to confirm and whatnot ...

Re: Vendor Communication
You prob won't have to communicate with them until a couple of months before your wedding. All my vendors starting contacting me now and I'm at almost two months.
Edited-cuz I can't spell

Re: Vendor Communication
I only speak to most of my vendorsif I have a question. I usally speak with my photographer the most through texts and email/phone but that's because we've developed a friendly relationship over the past couple of months.

I only communicate if I have a question. So aside from final meeting, that'll be it!

Re: Vendor Communication
I am the same - I don't contact the vendor unless I have a question only THEY can answer (ie I can research it myself on LIW or google most of the time) or if I need to let them know about specific requests. I think the only vendor I plan to communicate with 2 or 3 times is my DJ since I have to compile a list of 'must play' and 'must not play' songs....
I really do NOT want to be 'that' bride vendors physically cringe when anyone asks them 'so was there any difficulty you experience in your job when dealing w' brides?'..
