Vendor Emails

Vendor Emails

It really drives me crazy that random vendors call and email me. What makes it worse is when they do not proofread the emails. I just received one from a photographer where they spelled wedding with only one d in the subject line. I understand there are oversights but half the email was spelled incorrectly and was lacking punctutation. Sorry for the vent, I may have been too harsh.

I had this one photographer call me 4 times.. forgetting that I went to go see him already.. Its like get an excel spreadsheet and check off who you call..

I don't mind them email me but I hate they keep calling me days and nights!!!! I got calls at 1am in the MORNING too...what's wrong with them????

woah, I'd give my hall 30 lashings if they sold my info to vendors.....

I actually haven't received one phone call. I only have received david's bridal and fortunoffs emails (both my fault for creating accts with them). not too bad....

It is very frustrating! I've had a DJ company cold call me on my cellphone for almost 10 months. NO WAY would I every look into them. So annoying!

NWR, but I had this same issue with mortgage brokers who would NOT stop calling.

I work 70 hours a week - this week I've already worked 70 hours and have barely slept. I explained to them I'd have to call back when I am less busy. I have a HUGE brief going out tomorrow... Well, I get asked when I'll be less busy. I say 'I don't know. I'll call you back when I do know.'

After that, they call my AT MY OFFICE twice a day, sometimes three times. Luckily, I can bypass my secretary (if I happen to be in my office) and send it straight to voicemail, but my poor secretary had to field so many calls from them. I sent an email so they'd have it in writing that we chose to go with another lender. Not only did they write back to that email, they called me AGAIN at the office at 8:45 this morning. I sent it to voicemail and as usual they did not leave one. I called back a few mins later and told them to STOP CALLING ME. The guy swore up and down he did not call me. Uh, I have caller ID moron. Did someone call from your exact extension?!

I refuse to use anyone with such a hard sell. It drives me nucking futz.

ANNOYING, Ive had photographers call me over and over even after I told them I had booked someone already

Yeah I love the calls from the same vendore multiple times when you say you already booked someone. At this point I don't answer numbers I do not know and I am quick to delete emails.

I feel the same way!! I hate it when an vendor can't proof read their emails and send a professional email!!!

And on top of all the emails and phone calls, how annoying is all the junk mail? Why do these vendors keep wasting paper mailing out the same info over and over? Obviously if I didn't contact them the first 10 times they mailed me something, I'm not going to!!!

lol - i gave them all my parents info because i don't live on LI anymore. my poor mom has been flooded with calls.

its being on here, not halls, at least not in my case!! its the price ya pay i guess.

Hahahaha...I thought I was the only one that did that. I can't stand being stuck with a cold call. I barely have the attention span for the people in my life I like!!

Hahahaha...I thought I was the only one that did that. I can't stand being stuck with a cold call. I barely have the attention span for the people in my life I like!!

I know I hate it too, I dont get that many emails but I do get alot of phone calls and I pick up bec I am curious to see who it is, sooo anoying. Iam just nice and say 'I am still looking' or 'havent started looking yet, I will get back to you when Iam ready'.
