Who did you put in charge of handing them out? when did you give that person the money envelopes?
(i dont want to worry about having to remember it the day of )

We were originally thinking that too... we feel the same way about our BM (its FHs brother)... But he's probably going to be drinking (i wouldnt expect him not to)... and i know i wouldnt want that responsibility if i was drinking, ya know?

As of now I think the honor is going to my father. He doesn't drink and hes very responsible so... Ill give him all the envelopes that morning and send him on his way.

We gave ours to our BM who is very responsible but with all he went through that day with his speech and all he was so confused and gave the DJ their tip before he gave them their money for the reception and he ran up the stairs when he relized what he did and took it back HA. Then my DH forgot he gave the Maitre d money to him and at the end of the night we couldn't find it until finally my BM said is this it? We laughed!!! So try your MOH instead Just kidding

Exactly why we gave them to my FIL - we also left a couple of them open in the event that we wanted to add or change money amounts (which we did). It was also great because my FIL old businees is catering, so he was very helpful with that stuff.

I'm leaving my envelopes open too!! i put the highest amount that i would possibly give each in them, and if we're dissatisfied w/ anything, then i'll just deduct it. I think i may put my dad in charge as well. He stopped drinking years ago, so i'm assuming he's going to be in better condition than the others

Im giving my cooridinator ones that I am sure ex:like DJ and the bridal attendant stuff like that but for others giving to dad like BM photographer.

I think one of our dad's will take care of that. FH's parents are paying for the photographer, so they will have their own envelope.

I'm planning on asking my FFIL. MY Dad can't as he is disabled and has difficultly speaking. FFIL seems very good for this job.

This was a nightmare. I had to do it and it was terrible. I had to spend the last 30 minutes of the reception figuring this out. Hard to say what you want to give people until the night is over. My maid of honor was useless and the Best Man was not from the US and had never been to an American wedding before so he couldn't help.
I would ask some groomsmen to do it if you think they won't be drinking too much :)
Give them the envelopes with the names on them and make sure they know who the vendors are!!!!
Maybe give them all the money and then at the end - just jot down the amounts and have them divide it up in the envelopes for you.
