This is probably really stupid...but I'm starting to organize myself in terms of making final appointments and getting all my ducks in a row, and I was re-reading my RH contract, and it said any outside photo/video/dj etc needs to provide the liability insurance.
Does that mean florists do not? I assumed so because they still have to set foot in the property, but this wording made it sound like just entertainment.
I'm sure it varies RH to RH, and I'm definitely going to call tomorrow to make sure, but I'm curious which vendors you all needed to get the insurance sent from?

Sorry I can't help... I didn't have to get proof of insurance sent from anyone.

Re: Vendor Liability Insurance Question
Florists do not since they do not stay during the reception but DJ, photo/video, and any other vendor that stays need to have the insurance faxed to the rh before your event.

Re: Vendor Liability Insurance Question
We need our florist as well because they light votives, etc. If say the building burnt down due to a lit votive, they'd need the florists insurance.

Re: Vendor Liability Insurance Question
I'm waiting on a callback now from whoever my new, third BM is...geez. FH was like what about limos? I was like I don't think they need it because they don't step foot in the building, and he was like yeah, but technically they could crash and drive through it, so wouldn't they need to submit it too? Yeesh! We are two of a kind, that's for sure

That is strange...one less vendor though to harass is fine by me! I just want to know who my new BM is, we should be going in for the menu stuff in like a month or so, and I want to make sure that all the stuff that my old one told me still stands and that doesn't go out the window now that it's a new person, in terms of the things we can and cannot bring in, etc.
