im preparing all my envelopes etc and realize i have two vendors (DJ & videographer) that i have to give final payment in cash the day of the wedding. do you pay them in the beginning of the night and then give them the tip at the end of the night? do i give it to them all together at the end of the night? im clueless!

i told or MD that I had a lot of cash that I was going to be carrying around to pay the vendors and I didn't want to be holding it the whole night so he made sure he found those vendors when I got to the RH and I paid them the second I got there.

This is semi-unrelated, BUT, when I go on cruises with my family, my dad always tips the waiter or maitre d extra cash on the second night, so they make sure to take care of us the rest of the week. So I'm thinking - tip at beginning so they make sure they take care of you the rest of the night? I don't know....lol.

good question, im planning on paying most of them right when we get there, but our dj and photographers told us they rather us pay at the end of the night. so who knows lol

Yup, you're right - they could think it's cheap and then not perform. Humph. I dunno now. lol.
