Vendor Prices

What is the average price for all vendors combined; such as Videographer, photographer, DJ, Limos, and flowers? We are on the search for our venue and have come across ones that contain package deals and others where you need to find your own vendors. After getting quotes from the venues I'd like to get an idea what an average cost would be to add onto the price so we can figure out our budget. I have talked to a couple vendors but nothing crazy yet. We are looking at having our wedding in end of 2015 or Spring of 2016. Thank you!

I've heard your venue is usually 40-50% of your total wedding budget. Not sure if that's true for Long Island given our venues are open bar and tend to cost more $ but it's the standard I've been reading in magazines, planners, etc.

I haven't tallied everything yet, but I'm seeing my venue being close to 60-70% of our total budget. I've bargain hunted just about everything but my gown. I had to splurge somewhere.

I booked an all inclusive package bc it appears to save so much.
from what I researched briefly before deciding to def go with all incisive was
photo/ video $3k-$4k
photo only-$1k(low res cd only boo album boo prints) to $2k
dj. $1k-1500 (1 man four hours no mc )
limo $1k ( I have a big bridal party so I needed like 3 limos or one bus! oh and that's only pick up drop off! $1500-$2k for 3hrs)
flowers- only priced bouquets and all that stuff out....21 pieces $500-$800
I figured $8k min to $12k max for all of them....

I'm paying just over $18k for 175 people but I get 1 8 pass limo, dj, photo, video, and 10 centerpieces. only extra stuff I need is limo and 10 more centerpieces.

ps Nov 2015 vs spring 2016 is going to be a price difference in EVERYTHING!
more in demand time of year all vendors and venues up thier prices. my bm friends is a dj and he told me this is the case and I got limo quotes in the mail and more than one had 'winter special'

we haven't booked all of our vendors yet but for our dj, photobooth, photographer, videographer I think in total it is just under $6,000...I haven't started to price out flowers or limos yet

It really all depends on your budget, but from my wedding, as well as other brides that I know getting married soon the vendor combined prices is probably a third of the venue price, ranging from $10-$15,000
