Has anyone ever received a higher quote from a vendor than someone else told you they got from the same person? Did you say anything?

Yup, that happened to me with a few people: #1 our hall #2 photographer (that we didn't end up using anyway)
I said something to both. The hall came down on the price and the photographer gave me some BS about how I would getting more for the extra money..blah blah blah - we didn't book with them.
I don't see anything wrong with speaking up. Why should you get ripped off for no reason?!

It cannot hurt to ask. Just remember, the timing of your wedding may affect the price. Or maybe the other people were better negotiaters, but I would definitely speak up
