Hello ladies, I know that Flowers by Burton has gotten a lot of good feedback however, I was in a wedding this weekend and did not have a good experience with them. The roses were already wilting, browned on the edges and they were wrong! They were supposed to be mostly calla lilies with some purple roses. Instead it was all purple roses and a few calla lillies. The florist added a few mom calla lillies to the bo-k after the bride said something...still, there aren't many! Be sure to talk to the florist to make sure that the flowers are fresh...it made a difference and did not come out very nice in pictures. Here is a picture of one of the girls bo-k's. This is one of the first picture we took of the day. I would understand if the bo-k looked like this by the end of the night. HTH.
That exact same problem happened with my friend. We were re-wrapping the bo-k's before we even left for the church. And her 'black magic' roses were definitely either of poor quality or were not black magic. They were so small it looked like a 7-11 bo-k. That is what deterred me from booking them.

I haven't booked my florist yet because I am only doing bo-k's. I had planned on just using them because I heard good things but now I won't.

this is the scary thing about all vendors... you try your best to find people who are affordable, yet are trustworthy..... in the end, it's always a guess!
We met with them and got a quote for flowers... Something rubbed me the wrong way.... I can't explain it.... perhaps it was the way they were trying to fit our wedding into a pre-existing mould, rather than listening to what we wanted.. The second florist we met (sugar magnolias) we booked on the spot.... Somehow, we felt Heidi would definitely pull through for us...
Ever since that meeting in Feb, we've kept tabs on the raves and rants on burtons.... This story is one of the worst.... the other that made me was an LIW review where they showed up late, and were decorating the church as the guests looked on....

My FH and I did not have a good meeting with them - they were actually VERY expensive compared to every single other vendor we met with (and we met with some that are known to be on the high end of the price scale!!!) and just in general did not enjoy our 15 minute meeting - we felt like we got no real attention, fushed out, etc etc. That's just our experience; I know that other brides have had great experiences with them.
