sorry girls, i know a lot of you have used and LOVE barrons, but i just wanted to share my experience so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
I bought a headpiece there about 2 months ago. Feel in love, paid cash (didn't get a deal on the price, but saved tax). When I got home, the piece was in two pieces (i think the lady bent it when putting it in the box.) Anyways I went back and they said they would order a new one, no problem. They promised it would be in in 2 weeks.
2 weeks came. no call. i called them. they said next week,
Next week came. no call. no piece
same thing every week. And every week they would say next week i promise.
So finally i had enough and went back for my money. They gave it back with no problem, but i just wonder if my wedding was closer what would of happened. Every time I called they seemed surprised i wanted my headpiece that i paid in full for...
They have a LARGE selection, and were very nice and easy to work with when i went in, but i just wanted to share my experiance incase anyone is looking to order with them last minute, it may not be the best idea
Now anyone with other ideas of places to buy headpieces in person ?

Re: vendor rant
Sorry to hear about your troubles.. Glad you were able to get your money back. A lot is said about them and it's all good but I think there are some instances when they are not so great - that goes for every vendor.
I would suggest going to Bridal Styles in Brooklyn. They are great there and they have a wide selection of headpieces. You may be paying more for the headpiece but they make everything by hand and it's all real swavorski crystals. I went there with the intention not to spend too much and I ended up getting a great deal on a headpiece, earrings and a veil.

i hate to say anything bad about people, and thats why I said a lot of girls LOVE them, but I just wanted to share my troubles so people are aware. I agree, this unfortunately happens with all businesses.. Thanks again

Re: vendor rant
Another vote for Bridal Styles. I tried barrons and was willing to spend up to $500 and they weren't willing to give me the time of day. Very awkward. I went to Bridal Styles and they basically treated me like a queen for 2 hours while I tried on literally 50-75 headpieces until finally I found one I loved.

Another Bridal Styles bride here - they're amazing, and like Lisa said, they treated me so well!
