No way, I had no idea! Seriously, she was just rude, and didn't even care. At all.

I did not buy anything from there...but I do remember seeing them on the episode of bridezillas.

Everytime I went I didn't get great attention so didn't bother giving them my business.

Sorry to hear this. I'm glad you posted this. Vendors should be held accountable.

Glad you did, however, I really really saw nothing on the wall posted about refunds or exhanges. Guess I'm blind. I normally would never bash anyone, but that fact that she was so incredibly rude and completely unsympathetic to hear anything I had to say, that is why I am posting. She didn't even care. I understand the no refunds, but not even an exchange? Come on...really. That is a little ridiculous.

I really have no time to find anything. Things aren't as easy when you have a 2 year old to take care of, I can't drop everything to go search for a headpiece. I don't have a choice, she just ruined my day today!

Not everyone has similar experiences, I am just posting mine to let everyone know what they might have to deal with.

This.

I was actually there today and while waiting for them to package my items i saw the sign right in front of my face. I normal don't pay attention to these things but it was hard to miss. I myself have had nothing but great service everytime that I have been there. I purchased a lot of things from them and have never had a problem.

Sorry your in this situation. Best of luck!

Re: Vendor Rant

i didn't have a good experience there either

sorry you're going through this

i gave them three shots:

- first time i went with my sister and i had just gotten my dress and i wanted to try on headpieces. they actually said 'no, you don't have a picture of your dress with you, so you cannot try on headpieces.'

- second time i went i waited 20 minutes looking into the cases trying to get everyone's attention and they weren't even that busy but didnt give me the time of day. i would up walking away.

- third time i went i went during an 'off' time during the week, told them i was willing to spend $500. they showed me a couple of headpieces but were annoyed that i wanted to actually put them on my head each time. i don't really understand how you can run a headpiece business and not expect people to put them on. i found one i liked, but i didn't absolutely love. i asked them if i could pay them upfront and have them order me one as it got closer to my day (i was like 10 months out at this point). she immediately got all pissy and said no, you want it, you buy it now you take it home now. i was so confused especially since i've read about people ordering veils, etc. from there and not picking them up into the few days before their weddings.

needless to say, i didn't give them my business. however, my mom wanted a headpiece and when i went back there with her (for the fourth time there now), they changed their tune. they were totally attentive, let her try on like 30 headpieces, etc. we wound up buying hers from there.

i personally don't like businesses that aren't consistent in their business models.

so sorry you're going through this. do you have a MOH you could put on headpiece duty? maybe she could go to estelles or bridal reflections to find something for you. also, thomas knoell (though he is usually very expensive) has a clearance section sometimes. you might want to give him a call.

ETA: im not trying to bash them, i just think that people should have full disclosure. i have issues sometimes with vendors because no one takes me seriously since i look very young. i think this may have been the case here even thought it was not outwardly said.

Re: Vendor Rant

i had a good experience there. they might not be the most friendly at first impression, but they were kind to me and knew what they were talking about (i worked with a man when i chose my veil, but the owner I dealt with when I picked up my veil). I saw another girl when, I went to pick up my completed veil, work with them to get a veil within 2 weeks and they were incredibly accommodating.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience...they did beautiful work for me. I got exactly what i paid for. you made a poor choice. it's not their fault. their stuff is pretty custom made. It's not fair to bash a vendor that displays their policies at the time of purchase. also, you're at the flea market....just sayin'.

Thank you Lisa. Whether or not they have a policy on no refunds/exchanges, doesn't mean that you should be a total beast about it. Really, she was rude. I was with my MOH, and my son. I explained the situation nicely, and so did my MOH, she just kinda said oh well and then ignored me completely and kept saying no changes while walking away.
I'm not one to post on here about any little thing that someone says or does, but her terrible attitude really got to me today.
I had my son with me so it wasn't even an option to go look anywhere else as he wasn't having a good day today and I wasn't dragging him to go search for things for my hair.

I wish I could send someone to go look, its kinda too late. Partly my fault, I should have done this sooner but I really didn't have a choice. Oh well, I'm sure my hair will look fine without anything. What can you do.
At this point in the game, I don't even care anymore. I just want Sunday to be here!

If anyone else had a great experience, I'm happy for them. That is great.
Like I said, didn't see a sign, I must have not been paying that much attention, as I was greeted so warmly by that lady there....
I don't really care at this point. I'm just letting everyone know what a bad attitude they have. Everyone has different opinions about different vendors. I just posted my experience.
Flea Market or not, you shouldn't be rude to your paying customers.
And poor choice, yes, going there was the poor choice. I admit that it was bad timing on my part, my headpiece for my wedding is not the first thing on my mind when waking up in the morning!
