Vendor Rant!

I used Bill at Inkspun because the original vendor was out on maternity leave. I mailed him my envelopes priority mail because he said he would turn them around that same week - Proof on Monday in the mail for friday. But no proof came through - I emailed and called and he said ok tomorrow. Same thing happened on Tuesday and Wednesday. After several calls he said he would send by Thursday afternoon. Thursday late evening the proof came through. I returned it immediately.

Friday I called he said he received and would send out that day. Nothing. I called Saturday and Sunday - no answer. Monday he emails me and says that it looked like the font color was wrong - Now there's an order form that he receives printed with the envelopes that says black. He sent me the word document that is also very obviously black - If you highlight it the color shows. He said o - it looks like a really dark grey???? So i say to him that this is crazy and that he keeps dropping the ball - he says i am being nit picky and insulting him? What!?!? You cashed my check and haven't delivered any step of the way. He says they will be here tomorrow. I asked for a tracking number to be sent to me. He refused. I told him I am leaving the country on business and I need someone to bring them inside as it is raining! He mocked me and said I was being a bridezilla?

I seriously doubt that. He cashed my check but I still don't have a product. This guy may produce a nice product but his course of doing business is horrible.

Sorry to hear this. I have to remember this when it comes time for me to do envelopes.

Is he the owner? I would threaten to open an investigation through your bank bc he shouldn't have cashed the check until he did the work. I'd also let him know that you're on LIWeddings and that you're going to write a negative review on wedding wire.com too.
