VENDOR RANT!! NASSAU TENTS
Let me begin by saying UGHHHHHHHHHHH![]()
After looking for staging for our band, FH and I finally thought we had found a co. that would work for us. Since Monday, FH has been dealing with Alex from Nassau Tents, and yesterday, he tells me that he is thisclose to having them send over a contract for us to sign (this stage has been SUPER annoying and we were getting so excited that it was almost over and done with).
This morning, I find out from FH that the guy had texted him saying he wanted an additional $75 for the skirting of the stage, which most companies provide free of charge. So, FH suggested I call the guy, and try to see if maybe I'd get a different price. Well, when I called, Alex picked up, and when I started telling him that my Fiance was 'speaking with a guy named 'Alex' he didnt even bother saying 'Yes, that's me!'
Anyway, when I told him that I found it very rude that as we were about to sign with them, he randomly drops the ball that he wants to weasel another $75 out of us! I explained to him, very nicely, that I felt we were being nickel and dimed and I would appreciate him hearing me out.
Our wedding is on a Thurs. night. They're not doing anything with those stages, lets be serious!
Wellllll....he had the balls to call my FH 'aggravating' so you better believe I ripped him a new a*sshole right before telling him EXACTLY where he can go!!
