Vendor Rant - re: dresses
I am writing this to warn anyone from using Burton's Bridal to purchase their gowns. I unfortunately did not read the reviews (which are all bad) before going there and found myself regretting it the moment I called to schedule my first fitting. They are so rude and don't help in any way. My dress was a fit and flare style but when I tried it on, it was a bit big in through the body so it clearly needed to be taken in to get that flare look which is what I really wanted. When I asked them to do that they argued with me and said my dress wasn't made to do that. I had to pull out the picture from online to show them that it was. They then gave me an attitude to do any alterations other than hemming the bottom. I strongly urge you not to go here if you want to have a good experience with your gown. I dreaded all of my fittings and still did not leave with the dress I had pictured. There are so many other good places on LI that its not worth it.
