Vendor Rave
So, I am waiting for my pro pics to come in, (as you may have read ![]()
) but in the meantime I wanted to let you all know about 2 of my favorite vendors from my wedding.
The first was Pedestals Florist in Mineola. We dealt with Robert. He was amazing. He had so much patience and created everything that we wanted to our exact specifications. The centerpieces were spectacular. Just as I had imagined. Better than I imagined!!! He even saved us money by using some of the ceremony pieces for the reception. I haven't seen a lot of you girls asking for florists, but if you need one, these are the people to call.
My next rave is for my makeup artist. We used Stacy from About Face Artistry. I have used her in the past for 2 other weddings, but when it's YOUR wedding day, it is just different. Especially since my style is so different from theirs. She went above and beyond with my wedding though. For starters, my mom is very into NYC makeup artists, and wanted me to use someone she knew. I had my trial on the day of my bridal shower (SO did my mom, but w/ her normal person) and Stacy asked if my mom was having her makeup done also. That was it . My mom was convinced and a little embarrassed as well I think. She used and LOOOOVED Stacy as well.
Most of the girls had their hair done at a salon (and hated their hair...whole other story) But needed to have their hair redone, which of course threw off our time . Stacy didn't miss a beat and still had everyone ready to go with time to spare. Our makeup looked exactly the same at the end of the night as it did when she first did it. (fine I didn't wash my face before I went to bed and when I woke up everything but my lips was still in place! Gross maybe, but I was so tired, and how is that for a testimonial!!!)
