Vendor RAVE and ering update......
so without a head full of carpet fresh this time, I went out to Massapequa today to go to the jeweler Joe bought the ring from GOOD OLD GOLD.
They put it on their rod and it came out to be a 4 1/2. Now I'm thinking 'great, these people think I'm a psycho bridezilla (because I called before coming and contacted tacori already)' I explained that I saw it on the other rod from the jeweler in my neighborhood and it came out to a 5. She then got another rod and it came out to a 4 3/4, so basically all rods are not the same (which isn't great for us ladies)
They were very patient with me however, and very helpful. They put a ring guard on it temporarily and I'll go back after christmas to get it fixed. Alot of his family has yet to see it, so I didn't want to be without it for christmas. Tacori rings need to be sent out to be worked on to Tacori, so they're going to measure how much it needs to be sized instead of saying a size, since rods seem to be off.
The store was really nice, Joe really liked their prices, and the women were soooooo nice. I felt much better about the whole situation, and wouldn't have unless I spoke with them. The lady lives near me in Holbrook also and offered to come pick up my ring to send it out instead of me taking the trip. I really don't mind driving there, but I thought it was a nice offer.
If you girls are looking for wedding bands, I'd strongly recommend them! I know why Joe ended up ordering from them....
