I just got back from getting eyelash extensions from Linda at Salon De Caro in Deer Park (right on 231). I shopped around a bit and everyone was charging like $250-$450 which I thought was a bit much just to have them for the wedding day. I was in there getting my nails done a few weeks ago and a girl was getting her lashes done, so I asked about the price. It was $150 and it took about 1.5-2 hours for the application. They came out great!

It says with proper care they can last up to 2 months, depending on how long your eyelash growth cycle is.

The paper she gave me says only water-based mascara, no oil based or waterproof. However, she told me since I only really wanted them for the wedding it wouldn't matter. The oil-based/waterproof mascara decreases how long they will last.

Haha, you don't have to know it. But I guess there is some error built into that they will last for 2 months. Basically some will fall out when your natural lash sheds.

I know, I was surprised I couldn't even distinguish between my natural lashes and these.
