Vendor Rave - Macy's registry
My FMIL bought us our fine china plates and soup bowls (16 settings), and 5 boxes arrived at her house 2 months ago. I finally had a chance to open up the boxes this past Saturday, and there was a missing place setting...only 15 of the 5-piece sets (but all 16 soup bowls). I was in a panic, so my FH called up customer service and explained that we were missing a 5-piece setting. The woman said no problem, they would either send us a new one for free or if it wasn't available they'd send us a gift card so we could re-purchase it.
I am very happy to report that a new 5-piece set is on it's way to FMIL's house (should arrive tomorrow!). I couldn't believe it was so hassle free!
A lot of people on LIW complain about Macy's registry, but I must say I've been extremely pleased so far! Everyone has different experiences, but thought I'd share my positive one.
