Vendor Rave - Tux Rentals!
After a not-so-great experience at After Hours and Men's Wearhouse in Queens last week, my FH and I went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place today and put in the order for his tux!!!
He had gotten a tux there last year for his friend's wedding so we decided to check them out again for ours. The service is impeccable - we didn't even have an appointment but Ben insisted that he would help us (the lady was saying that he had 3 other appointments coming in, but Ben said he'd help us anyway - turns out all 3 appointments later cancelled so it all worked out perfectly. Ben even remembered my FH from when he fitted him last year for his BM tux).
They really take their time with you and you can try on all the different styles of jackets, vests, and ties. (The little sandwiches and refreshments didn't hurt either!)
My FH looked SOOOOO handsome in his tux! I'm so excited! We picked out the GM and dad's tuxes too; we just have to decide on the color for the dad's vests. The prices are not cheap-cheap, but they're not horrible either, and the quality of the tuxes is really great. I definitely recommend Tuxedo Park if you're still looking for tuxes!
