So I literally just came back from dress shopping (for the first and last time) and I had an amazing time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wont post any pictures because I might have a few cousins sneaking around on here.
First I went to Davids Bridal in Westbury. I heard so many mixed reviews on them but my experience exceeded my expectations. This was my first time trying on a wedding dress and I was a bit nervous. I had a 10am appointment and I worked with Donna. She was a doll to work with and we really clicked. I tried on 2 dresses and I just fell in love with the second. I didn't want to say 'yes' as yet because I had another appointment at Lilettes.
I went to Lilettes at 1pm and worked with Geri. She was an absolute doll and went above and beyond as well, and she never left my side. I just kept comparing all the dresses to the one at DB. I knew I had to go back and get it.
So I went back to DB and said yes to the dress. I never thought I would get my dress from DB. I am so excited!!!!!!!
So for those girls who are thinking of going to DB in Westbury, don't be scared, just make an early appointment and ask for Donna.
And if you go to Lilettes, work with Geri...she treats you like a princess.

Congrats...I got my BM dresses from the DB in LIC and also tried on wedding dresses. I had a great expereince with them as well

I'm glad you were happy with your service at DB. I was just there today at 4:30 for bridesmaid dresses and I think the Westbury location is awful. I'm glad I didn't get my dress from there. My dress is from Bridal Reflections and they are the best. Anyway, thank God my gals tried on 1 dress at DB and we knew that was it! The sales lady (Diane) was awful. She helped find our dress, we tried on the dresses and she disappeared. We had to go to the front desk and have the receptionist page her. SMH I'm glad we went there knowing exactly what we wanted.

Were you there this Saturday? Because i was there trying on my dress i bought already (the Oleg Cassini trumpet dress) with my new shoes. I know someone was trying on that same dress too. Its a beauty

Thats awesome!!!! I got my dress from DB in Lake Grove. I feel that when you go early in the morning on a weekend or during the week you get much more personal attention!!

Yes, you are right. When I made the appointment on the phone the lady was very sweet and she warned me that the store will get very busy on the weekend. So thats why I made it for the first appointment of the day (things were less hectic)
