Vendor rave/rant
I was reading how everyone knew instantly when they met some of their vendors that 'they were the one'. I was worried that hadn't happened for us until we booked our Officiant on the spot.
Onto my rave...
We met with John from Flower Michele last weekend and we loved him. I went in only knowing I wanted to keep my budget as low as possible and I wanted fall colors. He asked us a little about our wedding and colors and showed us a few things to see what we reacted to. His price was within our budget and we wanted to book him immediately.
We realized though that we still had an appt already set up for tonight with another pretty popular florist so we kept it and I sooooo regret that I did. First....We were a little surprised that they didn't call to confirm the appt but figured so what. We got there, they acted like they didn't have us in. We were a little early but waited 10 - 15 min past our scheduled time and then some woman came over to help. I didn't like her instantly! One thing about me is that I HATE to be BS'd!!! This woman was just saying things to hear herself speak I think. My name is Andrea (pronouned An-dree-uh) which I told her...she called me every other variation but my actual name. She asked how many other florists I had been to, what they quoted me and she wouldn't give me the estimate, only wrote down the total for me. All in all, I'm actually glad it was a bad experience b/c now there is no question I will be booking with Flower Michele.
