What do you do first after you book the hall?

Have an appointment tonight to check out there work and we're going to book them

After I booked the church and the hall, I booked the videographer, the DJ, photographer and the limos. Yes, I am crazy. I booked all my vendors a month after I got engaged (which was Feb. of 2002).

I say photographer/video then maybe dj, or the other way around but these are priorities...

Some of these companies only do 1 wedding per day and you don't want to fall in love w/ someone's work only to find out they aren't available on your date. Not that you have to worry about that yet!

I've already booked everything, but they say you should book the band/DJ early, and I've heard the photographer early, especially if you have someone specific in mind.

NYlisa and I are the same day, same hall so she has all her vendors already so I just double check with her who her vendors are so I know not to call them.

I am doing video tonight and possibly photo in Feb. I really have to do some homework on photo so afer video I am going to use my time to photo.

After photo then it will be DJ.

After I booked the hall, I went and booked the photgrapher. Then I got my dress (I know, a little early, but I LOVE it) and now I am working on interviewing the DJ's.

Davids Bridal....I had such a great experience there. I couldn't have asked for nicer people than they had there.

After the hall we booked video, then I started to look at dresses, just to see what I liked, then we researched the DJ and the photographers. That took the longest. Next we are doing flowers, then looking at tuxes,ordering BM dresses, and my shoes, make up trial ,and hair. In the middle there we also got BM gifts.

WOW-glad to hear you had such a great experience @ DAVIDS-I have heard mixed- beautiful dress by the way!

After the hall, I did flowers-because I knew who I wanted and I am currently working on video & DJ. I also know who I'm going with for photography

I would say the church is the next important thing, and then the band or Dj.

Yes, I would say make sure you book your church date if you haven't already done so. After that I booked my video and then photo, and my friend is the DJ. All else I'll book in the summer.
