Vendors

Has anyone ever gotten a phone call from a preferred vendor from a RH that you didn't end up booking!?

I just received a phone call from a DJ ( I couldn't even make out their name) and asked if I wanted to set up an appointment...

I almost felt weird talking to them!!

Has this happened to anyone else!?

I use to get phone calls all the time. If I am not interested in talking with them I would tell them that I will call them if I want to make an appointment.

Our RH gave our name to a preffered vendor, without asking me first . We booked a different DJ and when we told them they were pretty easy going about it.

See I expect phone calls from MY RH's preferred vendors... but others I looked at.. I feel like that is weird.

I love when vendors lie. I love when I get a call saying it was so nice meeting you at ____ bridal show. I love saying thanks but no thanks and by the way I did not go to that bridal show so I know I did not meet you there.

Yup. Right after we booked, the calls started coming in. Luckily they only lasted a week or so, or else we would have been complaining to the RH.

I used to do this, but then they would always call back like two weeks later so now I just tell them I already booked.

Funny thing is that I haven't actually received any calls from vendors at my hall!! By the time they call I will most likely be all booked up!

Ugh, yes!! I keep getting calls from photographers that leave the same message over and over. One in particular has called me several times in one day leaving the same exact message. I'm sorry but if you don't realize that you are calling the same person multiple times a day that tells me you are going to give me crappy service. I just ignore the calls and am hoping they get the hint that I'm not calling them back.
