That is why we have to be careful about what we say on here...FM works really well !!!! Also if they are a liweddings vendor, this website will edit the post if it's not stated in a certain way...for example, you could say that 'such and such happened and I wasn't happy' but you can't say 'don't use this vendor bec....' or your post will get edited! in a way LIW doesnt just protect vendors but the brides too. There was one person on here who lied, a few of us caught this person in the lie bc well they posted pics that obviously showed us that what they were saying wasn't true. But there were many people who believed this person. Well I found out that the vendor is now suing this person for posting lies. I was confused by that thread and don't know what her purpose was or if she really was that lost and just forgot which vendor she went to and was posting pics claiming it was a vendors work but many of us knew it wasnt

Well, I that isn't right either. I don't feel a vendor should have their name slandered and be hurt, but I think a bride should be able to give an honest review. I guess it's a tight rope sometimes.

well with that situation the bride completely lied or just somehow forgot lol. She posted pics saying one florist did the sample but meanwhile many of us knew it wasnt that florists showroom since we can see the background and other brides came on saying that they knew the background and it was a different florists showroom.

Unfortunately, bc LIW doesn't know what happened or who is telling the truth they take it off so theres no trouble. There was also an 08 bride not long ago that said something about a vendor of hers and not even a lie or didnt go off on the vendor either but just made a statement, the vendor saw it and he also threatened to sue her, i dont know what happened in the end but she went through quite some BS bc of it. I do agree that it would be nice if we can get honest reviews, but in some situations its better for the bride if it gets deleted before a vendor see's and takes legal action. I think until a situation is resolved, such as the bride spoke to the vendor, got money back or the vendor did something to correct the problem, or it was handled somehow then yeah usually will get deleted. OR if you word it properly then it can stay on, ive seen quite a few brides reviews that complained a bit about a vendor but they knew how to word it.

Wow, that stinks for both sides who are being wronged. I don't understand why some brides make up stuff. Very odd to me, but there is a WORLD of odd ppl out there so I'm not surprised, lol. I guess some ppl just want to get attention or be sensational?

lol i don't get it either, its so weird to me. Thats why sometimes I always question what ppl write bc some brides are crazy not all but some

its messed up bc it just ruins it for us ya know. Its like those brides who sued the church bc THEY slipped on aisle runners, first of all who sues the church? lol i could never do that. You wanted the aisle runner, you are the one who tripped and fell. And now bc of that so many churches dont allow aisle runners and rose petals to be thrown bc they won't take the chance of getting sued like other churches did. So those few brides ruined it for so many others

OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS? Wait, wait, wati. That's why churches don't allow aisle runners? I'm jewish, so I didn't know about this, but what kind of a person A: Sues a Church? and B: Sues b/c THEY'RE a clutz? What on earth? OMG, that's horrible!! Yet oddly amusing . I really never knew that before. Oh man, that's crazy!

Yes the vendors are on just as much as we are.
I've talk about this site wtih just about every vendor that I've gone to... some of them told to make sure that I post good things about them.
