Someone told me last night that vendors (dj, photographer, florist, rabbi, etc.) get wedding invites.
Do these people get wedding invites?
If so, do I need to have a seat for them?
Thanks for the clarification!

Re: Vendors as wedding guests?
I'm not sending my vendors invites... I have never heard of this. They know they have to come and they don't need seats at tables.

Never heard of this! I'm paying my vendors to provide a service... No need for an invite or a seat. However, you most likely will have to pay to feed them.

You should also ask you rh where they sit, you do need to feed them n pay to feed them most likely unless they are house venders, usually half off though. I was at a wedding at Chateu la met and the photog , dj and video people were at a table next to us when eatting which I thought was odd.

THIS- also, some halls give a discount for meals if you use one of their recommended vendors!

Re: Vendors as wedding guests?
I never heard of sending your vendors invite, to me that seems like a waste because you already have a contract with them for the date of your wedding and they will already be there.
However, you will most likely want to feed them since they will be with you ALL day. You'll have to pay for their plates. Most RH i've been to offer discounted rates or even 1/2 price per plate for vendors. In my RH it is 1/2 price and I believe they have seating for them, not sure if its the reception room or elsewhere.

My RH said they are half price, but I'm not planning on sending them invites! Their signed contract and down payment is the invite !! haha

We pay half price at our RH for the vendors, no invites or table for them, they eat in the cocktail hour room when the guests are in the main room.
