My RH told me my vendors need to fax them proof of insurance - maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm assuming that's just the DJ, video & photographer? Would I need to ask my florist & limo company too?

I would double check with your venue. They have a lot on file, so it might not even be an issue. Like if your florist and limo company do a lot of business with them, you might be all set.

Re: vendors & insurance
You should check with your venue which ones you need to submit. My hall was Crest Hollow, and the staff did not require insurance of its approved vendors, but did with any non-approved vendors and with a minimum amount of coverage. Even if the non-approved vendor had worked there before, a new certificate had to be submitted.
I work a bit with insurance, although it's not my main job, so take my guesses with a grain of salt. With venue-approved vendors, the hall may be a loss payee/additional insured party the vendor's policy on a long-standing basis. Such may not have been the case with non-approved vendors, who would theoretically add the hall as a loss payee/additional insured only your date for your wedding.
