Vendors not responding?!?

Hello Brides,

So recently I have been trying to book the photographer/ videographer so I found Capture the moment and I really liked there work. So I emailed them about scheduling an appointment to come see them and talk to see if they were a good fit. I confirmed they were available for our date, they asked me did I look at their packages which I did. Last email I sent requesting an appointment. Waited 2 days no response, sent another email. 3 days later no response. I prefer to email vendors and me and my FH both work overnight and we sleep during most days so having someone call us really doesn't work
I need to be able to get responses via email.

I still like there work but I'm not sure if I should look for another option???

If you have other photographers with similar styles I would love a qoute if possible. I thought we would book them and that's that but now I'm concerned.

The owner, Jessica just got married and just returned from her Honeymoon. I would try e-mailing her again and let it be known that it's the third time.

The owner of Capture the Moment always responded to me instantly via email. She got married 9/13 and posted on her facebook that she would be unreachable for a while.

That makes sense now, I wish I knew that prior though. It was just not getting an response was making nervous especially before actually booking them.

I booked her & have had excellent communication so far. Always prompt & professional, like the other girls said. I would reach out again or maybe call this time. It seems unusual based on my experience!

The same thing is happening to me. I really love the vendor so I decided to keep nagging but it's kind of annoying. She finally answered me back on Friday and said she would let me know when we can meet up by Monday. Today is Wednesday and she still hasn't gotten back to me so i'll be emailing her once again. I'm putting up with it because her prices are very good & I couldn't see myself going elsewhere and paying double for it. But it stinks

That's just what happened to me! I e-mailed him Friday, he said he would let me know some times we could talk on Monday and its Wednesday and no communication! He's one of the more expensive photographers we're looking at but I love his work and I was willing to pay it... now I'm not so sure!

I hope you love her cause she's awesome! We called and were able to book an appointment right away so I'm sure it was just because she was busy with her wedding! Her work is amazing! Good luck!

I have to admit it is really frustrating when you have to nag someone to give them YOUR money. I'm trying to be patient with some of the other vendors but in this day an age where everyone gets emails on there phones, it shouldn't take days and several follow ups to get a response. Jessica did contact me and apologize and has responded to all of my emails since than, however some of the other vendors not so much.
