Has anyone encountered a vendor not returning your call or email for a week? I emailed my florist a question for the first time and he never got back to me....Should I be concerned?

I had a problem similar to this with my florist. But after 3 weeks of no response I asked my RH if this is typical of her since they recommended her and unfortunately it is typical. But that was early on in my planning and it was the height of her wedding season so I tried to be understanding. We communicate very well now and I am so pleased with her work. HTH!

Same thing happened with me and the 1st florist I saw, and wanted to book. I called to make an appt to go in a sign the contract and give them the deposit, never heard back from them!!! It made me go elsewhere because if its that hard to get a hold of them when I want to give them $$$, I can't imagine what would happen once they had it!

yes, my photog is the same way! I dont know if he would ever return my call though, I dont give him a chance to find out ... I will continue to call until someone picks up the phone!

I know it can get frustrating but if he doesn't call you back then call again. Call every few days until he is available.

I would call and say something. With Nadia, whenever i left a message, she would call me back the same day.
I agree Nadia always calls me back, and e-mail can be hard ...

that is a big decideing factor for me when i book a vendor. unless you are email friendly and fast to answer me back you are out. I need to work with people who are technologically advanced and not too busy to answer my questions
we live in NYC with unlimited amount of vendors of all kinds no need to settle

Ok I totally had my first bridezilla overreaction moment! I got the phone call back and he was away all week filiming whose wedding is it anyway and platinum brides... I feel like such a dummy. I am very relieved...No problems with the florist, I would still recommend vito!
