How do you know vendors are posting on the BHB boards??? It's not fair to call them out but not to show proof.

Did you FM LIWeddings? They can investigate and decide what is proper or improper posting on their board.

well now its daycare on TTC and parenting boards.
I did not realize the katenjohn thing....sorry i am not on that much.....and i didn't think anyone caught it because everyone usually posts right away..

I just think that since LIWeddings owns the board they can determine on their own who should be posting what.
I don't see where all this undercover work & FM'ing other members is not going to do anything but get people worked up.
And what if you are over-reacting and that one of these suspected busniess people are not vendors but you are accusing them of potentially being one?
They own the boards, not us. I am sure they would appreciate an FM over all the insinuation any day. I know I would if I was running a MB like this.

I was not doing undercover work...its blatently there. And I am NOT trying to get people worked up. I just don't want to give these people any more press.

ETS - And I am not on these boards a whole lot so I didn't know that you are suppose to FM LIWeddings. I thought you were suppose to call attention to it.

Sorry - I mistook bumping a 3 week old thread and making two vague posts as doing some digging and exposing.
I was just trying to point out that it's more effective to tell LIW. Why wouldn't they be the obvious person to contact about inappropriate posters/vendors?

I'm sorry, but I think by posting about this on both BHB and NWR, in essence YOU have given the supposed more press!
BY all means its a good thing to catch the vendors posing as bride.. but if ANY of us see something fishy, notifying LIWs is always the first step..
Ron and his office always have dealt with these situations in a timely fashion. Calling out a when they post on a thread is one thing .. but I just don't think it is necessary to initiate threads about it until you know something for certain
ETA: I am not picking on you, or saying what you did is WRONG.. its great that you picked up on the fact there were vendors posting as brides. There is just a better way to handle it, that's all
