Are there any bridal stores (for bridesmaids dresses) or florists anyone can recommend in East Meadow or the surrounding area? I'll be in East Meadow for a few hours on Friday morning with time to kill (waiting for friend to get out of surgery) and would like to get some vendor appointments in that time, if possible!

Sorry nothing going on in East Meadow. What kind of vendors are you looking for?? You can go to Davids Bridal or Bridal Reflections in Carle Place for dresses. I got my invites at Have you Geard in Bellmore and you can always go to the Tri-County Flea Market.

I def. agree- check out David's Bridal. Its right through Eisenhower Park. Just take hempstead turnpike through the park, make a left onto merrick then another left onto old country road.
OR def. check out tri county for barrons and jewelry- its in levittown off of hempstead turnpike.
