How many of you are having the Venetian Hour at your wedding? My mom thinks it's a waste of money and food, but my FH really wants it and I would like to have it too.
We are thinking of doing a partial venetian table, but don't want people to think we are being cheap. We were thinking the chocolate fountains and some of delicious deserts.
What do you think?

We decided against it. People will be dissapointed in my family but that is just tough!! We decided to have an ice cream sundae, mini trays on the table with cookies, pastries and fruit. We are also have a cordial table with the liquour and cappacino, esspresso and coffee. And wedding cake. I think that's enough.
We decided against the full hour due the the RH not having a seperate room for it. I dont want them to stop my party to bring all of the carts onto the dance floor. At that point people are having a good time I dont want to stop!
I had to have something or my very Italian family would kill me.

If you want it and can afford it - then go for it! We're not having one. Our cake comes with an additional dessert, but also at the last couple of weddings I went to people barely ate the cake because they were so stuffed by that point, and already many many drinks in. We also don't have a lot of dessert people.

We're not actually have a Venetian Hour.. but our hall.. for the dessert you have an option of the dessert Trio or dessert cafe.... we chose the dessert cafe.. which is incorporated into the time of your wedding and they set up a bunch of different dsserts in the cocktail hour room which is connected to the ballroom so it works out.

i thought it would be a waste but my dad said its a must and he's paying, so we're having it. i wanted to save the money but he figured whats an extra 20 p/p when ur paying so much as it is

We did the Full with the Choc fountain .. I would have had just that instead of the meal LOL ... But me & my fam are very very big on the Venetian hour.. But Honestly its all up to you .. If you dont want it & Fh does do a half so he can still get what he wants and you dont have to go Crazy with it.
