hi - this is my first post. I just got engaged less than a week ago
Long story short, i just started browsing places this week and just from the photos i fell in love with Venetian Yacht Club and we will see it this weekend.
The one wrinkle is that when i called to inquire about their prices, the very nice gentleman i was talking to said i could not have my ceremony on site if i were to have an evening reception there on a saturday or friday but rather i could have on their sister property, crestwood manor.
has anyone else heard about this? i love venetian but it would be such an inconvenience not to have the reception there.
thanks for all the help.

Re: Venetian yacht club!
congrats on your engagement! I too liked the pics of the Venetian...until I went there! Not at all what was pictured... Take my opinion for what it's worth but I was very disappointed with what I saw there.

Re: Venetian yacht club!
I am getting married at Crestwood manor. I like VYC too but I wanted a more intimate wedding and Crestwood is a bit smaller. It is the same catering, to food is great! You can get married at Crestwood and so far the staff there has been wonderful and very helpful. FM me if you have any ?'s
Hope this helps

Yeap, when I was looking for venues and we went for our appointment to VYC, they told us the same thing. At that time, we wanted to have our ceremony in the venue so it matter a lot for us. We ended booking a different venue and later on decided to have our ceremony in a church

Re: Venetian yacht club!
do they give a reason why you can't have the ceremony there? maybe it has to do with a wedding/event that is scheduled during the day, so there would be time conflict.
