Hi girls! My FH and I visited CLM and Chateau Briand and then we fell in love with VYC!! We are going for a food tasting and they expect you to book the day of if you have liked the food. Has anybody been there or having there wedding there? I'm so scared we won't enjoy the food because that's just my luck lol!! The place is beautiful and I really enjoy dealing with the BM, Samantha. My FH's cousin got married there in Dec. I wish it were warmer out when we went cause the outside is so beautiful. The food was great, also.

I'm getting married there next summer and cant wait. We did the food tasting the night we signed the contract, and you have absolutely NO reason to worry! They only do tastings when they have an event going on bc they are not a regular restaurant.
FH and I were stuffed when we left and can't wait to experience it again in 14 months!

Re: Venetian Yacht Club
Thanks girls! Samantha said they don't usually do food tastings but if it is a make or break it decision then they do it. I just can't book without knowing the food tastes good for myself, you know? I'm super excited!! We are having a engagement party on Friday and we are planning to call and make an appt for the food tasting after that. They do actually require a large deposit compared to the other 2 halls I visited.

I think we got a pretty good deal also. We are planning for a Saturday night in Oct. 2012 and we got 124 per person including tax/grat. and they threw in the full vienesse hour. Is that good??

we are booked there for july '12 as well and are so excited! samantha is a doll and is so responsive and helpful. we had our tasting before booking, as well, and loved everything so don't worry. they do require a deposit but it was worth it to book the hall that we loved most! good luck and congrats
