The VYC was fabulous in every way. I had not one issue, problem, or complaint. I would recommend them 100%!!!!!!

I just booked with VYC yesterday and couldn't be happier. We are in the upstairs room ( I believe its called the hemingway room) and Eric is our banquet manager. So far he's been great!!

When is your wedding? December 9th, 2011; Night wedding

Which room? CH is in the Regency (downstairs) and reception is the State suite (upstairs)

Who is your Banquet Manager? Formerly Giulio - Now Daisy

What colors are you using for dresses/flowers? Girls are wearing Black Bill Levkoff strapless short dresses, with jeweled heels. My Centerpieces are deep red (Black Magic (Red) Roses) with branches; Platinum accents of Crystals hanging from the branches

Are you having your ceremony there? No - The ceremony will be at church.

If so, are you taking all your pictures there? No; we are taking our pictures at the Vanderbilt Museum before the reception.

We went for a tasting- it was amazing! My mom, dad, myself, and fh all went and it was delicious. mignon, french breast chicken, wild salmon, and vegetable wellington. We had the penne primavera (delicious! so we chose this). Selections of passed hors d'oeuvres including wasabi and salmon tar tar, asparagus wrapped in baked phillo,, beef wellington bites, bruschetta-all delicious! We had the filet mignon, french breast chicken, wild salmon, and vegetable wellington. We chose these dishes for our menu.

If so, are you taking all your pictures there? Yup, I grew up on that dock crabbing and fishing with my family so we're bringing fishing poles as props, and then we'll probably go down the block to the park too.

The food was incredible at our tasting, I kept going back to the salmon and I don't eat fish.
