Eric has been my BM from the beginning and is very good. He answers calls and emails same day usually and is very well versed in VYC's offerings. You dont have anything to worry about!

Just found out we are switching to Eric. Were meeting with him tomorrow. Great to know were in good hands.

Were getting there at 6 to meet a lighting guy. Samantha said he be there so we will probably be seeing him when your done.

I had a tough time with the selections of cake designs. To upgrade to a fancier cake was about $700. I am probably going to just go with a plain white cake and have my florist decorate it. I asked a past bride how her cake was and she said it was great. She had cannoli with chocolate chips and a chocolate cake. yummo.

When I went it was 7:30 so it was already dark. It's in the ceiling though so I would think even during the day you should be able to see it.

It's beautiful isn't it!!! They got it a few weeks ago. I went for my tasting and it was set up for a wedding. The place looked absolutely stunning!

Yesterday (Friday) was her last day. Everyone is great there though so I am not worried.

I have an appointment on Monday to drop off a payment. I want to check out the new uplighting

We also are thinking of moving our ceremony to the downstairs hemmingway suite. It's smaller and does not have a view, but I'd rather be able to see the upstairs set up and make sure the little things I've bought and added are in the right places, you know? Otherwise I feel like I would be thinking about what's going on up there the entire cocktail hour.

I probably have to pay my DJ a little extra to move from downstairs to upstairs after the ceremony but I think it will be worth it.

How is everyone else's planning coming along?
We are considering switching vendors for something, but haven't decided yet. We have an appointment with the new one to see.

Went for a visit and I noticed how much I like this chandelier in the foyer!!! I love the candles on it.

I also officially changed our ceremony to Hemmingway! I only got a decent picture of the corners but I am excited about the change

We also extended the appetizer/cocktail another 1/2 hour.

I have Hemingway as my backup plan if it rains or is 100 degrees out that day. Otherwise, Hemingway is our welcome area where guests get champagne or sparking water before the ceremony.

90 mins for CH is our plan, too. So excited!
