Venetian Yacht Club or Majestic Gardens

Finally, I think that I am done shopping for wedding halls.... What a process. Now I am stumped on VYC or MG's - they are both BEAUTIFUL and are in the same price range..
Now, I don't know which one I like better. I like MG's because it has the living room type lobby with a fire place and it is one wedding at a time. I Also, like the fact that they have several waiters when you first arrive handing out cocktails as you walk into the cocktail hour room. The place is beautiful, but then again the down fall is that it is all the way out on exit 63 on the LIE - i feel that it is a mission. Then VYC is absolutely beautiful and the view and the is also beautiful.

Hi I actually just booked Majestic Gardens this weekend..... May 17th day wedding.

I have recently been to the Venetian for a wedding and it was a blast... it was very nice and water view is beautiful, food and service was good etc.

For me it came down to price... Majestic Garden was a better deal. I am also concerned about the location but what can you do... the people that care and you want to be there will show up even its another 20-30 mins out east.

I haven't seen MG, but any place that does one wedding at a time is at the top of my list!

i've been to both places & they are both beautiful!!! VYC is gorgous for a day wedding 'cause the view of the bridges are beautiful! Magestic is gorgous obviously 'cause of the CH room and the gardens...so either is beautiful! and ps: i had my reception all the way out in nassau county, while we're all out in suffolk(and my ceremony was out in suffolk) ...everyone came & loved it! so don't let distance be an issue! the only thing u'd need to be careful about is that if ur wedding is a weekday, be careful about guests traveling through rush hour!
