Ok, so we went and looked at our first reception hall and of course I loved it! He was a huge fan too. Until the cost came in. Do you think that $160 pp is a lot including taxes and gratuities? That is including a cake and Viennese hour on a Saturday in August. This was at the Venetian Yatch Club.

I think it is alot. But August and Saturday are prime times and having a viennese hour adds to it.
Could you do a Friday night w/ no viennese? I bet that would cut atleast $20-$25 pp

They quoted me for a sunday (I believe labor day weekend) night wedding $192 pp, thats for everything, viennese hour, seafood etc. Personally I thought it was way too much but what they quoted you seems a bit better. Great view there!
