Venezia in Smithtown

Venezia in Smithtown

Hi Guys,

I need some input on Venezia in Smithtown. Have any of you been to or had a bridal shower there? I am thinking of booking this for a shower but I have never eaten there or been to a function there.

How is the atmosphere and food? I know their party room is upstairs. Does that take away the 'surprise' of the shower? I'm sure the guest of honor would figure out it was her shower if they escort her up to a private room.

It has real good food. The party room upstairs is okay, I haven't been there in a while. My FIL went to a party over the summer that was catered by Venezia. They said the food was fantastic!

I've read some negative feedbacks about the food at Venezia on here.

FM mrsv1015 - she had her rehearsel dinner there...

we went there to look for the rehearsal dinner, I have eaten there and the food is just okay...the room upstairs is nothing great either..it was average priced

So would you not recommend Venezia for a bridal shower? This was my number 1 choice because of price and location.

How about the Garden Grille (fireplace room)? This was my other choice but it is more expensive.
