Venice or Aruba

Venice or Aruba

He says Venice I say Aruba, If we go to Aruba for our HM we can relax, if we go to Venice we are going to want to site see, WE need to relax after everything dont you girls think so. I told FH he can take me on our 5th or 10th anniversary.

I kind of am going through the same thing. I was thinking hawaii but FH wants to try Europe. He made a good point that this will be the only time in our lives that we can take two weeks from work (and before kids). You can always do aruba for any vacation bc its a shorter flight etc. Both sound good!

Aruba would be my choice! I want to lay on the beach and relax by beautiful blue water... no site-seeing on my honeymoon. JMO!!!!

FH and I did Italy for our honeymoon and LOVED it!!!!! In Venice there is alot to do but all at your own pace. We found it the most relaxing place out of all our stops.

I'd vote Aruba. A very good friend just went there for her honeymoon and loved it. There was a lot to do, as she can't sit still.
Either way, both sound great!

Never been to Aruba, but I've been to Venice, but couldn't imagine staying there more than 2 or 3 days. IMO, there just isn't that much to do / see there.

Completely agree with you...been both places...both are great...aruba is very relaxing

i am a beach person- however I feel like aruba is more common and more likely to go there... imo of course you wouldnt necessarily have to REMAIN in venice for the entire duration of your trip...

maybe there is a place that the two of you can mix what you want to do... like the greek isles... or spain(ibiza) they have a mix of culture and art etc... and also beaches..best of both worlds

We are doing Aruba for our HM, and then going to Europe for our 1 year anniversary.

I wanted to lay on the beach for our HM. It is my favorite thing to do.

I'm going thru the same thing.

Today I'll say Aruba-I'm in a relax mode since I just worked 10 hours.

Tomorrow could be Venice.

Both good choices though!

I vote aruba too. I am doing both. In Europe it is mandatory to have a month off (minimum). England is 4 weeks plus 8 bank holidays off (only if we had that here) and to top it off FI has his own business. So we are going to the canary islands for a few days then backpacking - not much of a honey moon, but i always wanted to travel around Europe and this will be my last opportunity to go for a month!
