VENT!!!!

Maybe I am overreacting to this but...I had made an appointment to see our first hall for this past Sunday right after Christmas...FH knew about it for that long as well...

Anyway, he had a card game planned for that Saturday night (which I knew about) and before we went I reminded him that we would need to be out the door tommorrow am by at least 11:00...he said he knew and that it wasn't going to be a long night bc everyones shot from last night (New Years Eve)...I should have known right then and there that there was no such thing as as a 'short night' with these guys when they play cards...lol

I must have reminded him three times through out the rest of the night about the appointment...well we ended up crawling into bed at about 4:30 am...I slept through my alarm the next morning and woke up at 10:50...I yelled for him to get up and get ready FAST...he was laughing at my reaction to all of this and was not even attempting to get out of bed at any speed...he told me to cancel and relax with him for the day...OH MY ...

Are you kidding me...you knew about this appointment...I kept bugging you to leave EARLY the night before and you said 'one more round of cards' and now that I'm asking you to hurry up you want me to cancel????

I was so mad at him. I had to cancel bc we would never have made it. I don't know if I should reschedule bc I feel horrible that I cancelled on them (I don't want to mention the vendor just in case they're reading)...

The funny thing was he couldn't understand why I wanted nothing to do with him Sunday afternoon (after he woke up)...men!!!!! lol

No worries on re-scheduling...it happens...things come up. At least you had the courtesy to call and cancel.

I not only rescheduled a few times but due to my FH telling me he would have early days at work I would reschedule thinking we would definetly make it and it seemed that his early days always wound up being late days. This also caused us to cancel on plenty of Bridal Expos I registered for. Then after finally finding the place I wanted I went back to see it twice without leaving the deposit and then called 3 times to make sure the date was still available before I actually made it there to leave the deposit We originally went there in October and didn't sign the contract(I had to go by myself because FH had another late day)on Dec. 30th. Don't be embarassed these vendors have got to be used to it by now. Good Luck!!

I would definately re-schedule. Plenty of people cancel for one reason or another. But if you feel funny in thinking they will know it's 'the lady who just canceled'. Wait a few weeks. Hall's r so busy, they won't remember a voice on the phone from a cancelation.

BTW-I would have reacted the same exact way you did.
