I have to vent on this. A few weeks ago my FH and I had a long conversation about spending time together on Sunday. Well today is the bridal show at my hall. He knew about this long in advance, and I kept reminding him. I explained that this was important. So last night he told me that he had an opportunity to work. Me knowing how much we need to save told him that was fine. I'll just go with the girls then. So then today he finds out he doesn't have to work. But he's still not going! - He said he has somethings that he wants to take care of...so I am pretty mad. And this makes me think that this just isn't that important to him. I know if I was in his shoes and I found out I didn't have to work that I would be all over going to do something important with him. so - do I make him go or just go with the girls? What would you do?

That is tough
I think it depends on your FH, I know alot of FHs (including mine!) aren't as into the details and planning as we are, and that could be the root of his attitude about attending the show. However, if it means a lot to you, and you express this to him, and he still doesn't want to go, then I think you have a right to be upset.

Re: vent
I think you'll be better off going with friends. If he really doesn't want to go then you might not have a good time. My fh hates going to these things. I took him to the LI event yesterday and it was a nigthmare. He didn't want to talk to vendors and he spent the whole time searching for food.

I would say just go with the girls and let him do his things, you'll be able to enjoy your self and it will save you a fight

Re: vent
Well I ended up going with my bestfriend and MOH and it was ok. I still feel that he should have gone. We are paying for this ourselves and I feel that he should have more of an idea of what we are looking at and doing. it was ok, but I missed having him with me. The food was good though and the vendor information was great.

Aww im sorry! Glad you went though! Maybe you can sit him down and explain to him just how important it is to you that he comes to these things... he's a guy they don't always realize things.. specially wedding related things!! Talking to FH about some stuff is like ....
