Tell her it's your wedding keep her mouth shut or don't be in it. I got sh@t about the color i picked!! They're lucky they're not in clown costumes!! I'll even rent the clown car to squeeze them all in.

I can't believe she would be so vocal and opinionated about your wedding. I have many bridesmaids dress in boxes in my attic, none of which I will wear again, but I would never have told anyone that I hated the dress.

My sisters are the only ones allowed an opinion about the dress. I'm not even giving the other girls options or chances to give me their opinion. Sorry, its your wedding, do whatever you want!!

Jeez. I just finished fighting with one of my BM's. We got into a HUGE fight about the dresses. You have no idea how I feel right now- she basically made me feel like complete $hit about the dresses I picked. First off- I didn't even 'pick' the dress yet. We liked the dress- my Sister and I. My friend is coming with me Saturday to try it on. She asked to see a picture. I said to her that in the picture it looks like pure crap. I said that she needs to see it on person. She goes on and on about how old it looks and how ugly it is. Here I am trying to take every person's opinion into consideration. I am getting to the point where it's like F it. I aimed for picking dresses that were under 200 bucks and people don't even say Aww thanks for thinking of us. No. My friend goes 'this isn't even something I could wear again.' I am at the point that I'll can her a$$ for giving me $hit. Seriously. I don't need the dress and aggrevation. She is my best friend and I love her dearly. But come on. Cut me some freaking slack!

UGHHHH this is so frustrating. Don't people know the old saying 'if you don't have anything nice to say...DON'T say anything at all??'

You should definitely tell your friend that she is totally hurting your feelings and that if she feels really strongly about the dress, then she doesn't have to be part of the wedding party at all. You have enough stress to worry about than having to deal with an ungrateful friend.

Thanks again girlies! I swear, this 'stress' isn't even worth it! I went to sleep a little mad yesterday and woke up this morning and said to myself that I am not even consulting with her. I am going to pick something and not even consider her feelings. Because the more I thought about it, the more I realized that when she gets married, she would probably make me wear something henious and I would have no say in it. She is a little insecure of her body. I don't understand why- she looks fine. She is worried that what I pick will make her look fat. I mean, not for nothing but it really isn't about her and 2- I wouldn't pick something that made her look bad. I am not that way at all. So, whatever. It's over. I am sure this is the first of MANY wedding drama to follow. Yay.

oh this is actually very simple... tell her,' if you dont like the dress that I picked out for MY wedding, you dont have to wear it, you can wear whatever you want as a GUEST! Im going thru the same thing with my mother.

Thanks guys. She is a lot like me- very fricken honest and I appreciate the honesty but jeez! She is going on and on about this. So, of course I throw the curse words around and get really pissed. But I told her if this doesn't work out then I am picking $300 dresses! Ladies- this is my first bridezilla moment. And, I even went on her Myspace and left her a comment. I wrote:

Dear Friend,

You are wearing that ugly dress.

Love,
Me

I'm so bad, I know!

There is quite a difference between honesty and rudeness! I think the dress is very pretty and she can totally change it up into a cocktail dress. One of my BMs said to me 'as long as I'm not wearing yellow or purple'...they aren't but I was like 'you'll wear whatever I tell you to wear or buh-bye!' She laughed it off but I wasn't joking!!
And, BTW, I love that Myspace comment!!
