VENT!!!!

I started a thread on BHB...five things I wish I knew before my wedding...hope it helps you and others!

i think i am queen of people typically not responding to my posts - it has improved some but it use to be that NO ONE would respond.

Just take care of what you post - when you post and you should get replies.

I think for brides on the 08 boards who got married earlier and are still freq. posters here are just tired of saying, yes two - three months is when you get tuxes or do one program per couple, etc. If its a slow day I know I respond to that but if there is a lot going on I will ignore that post.

Don't let it aggrivate you. When planning a wedding, there are so many other things to stress over!

I agree with what your saying. I post things sometimes and get no responses. But I think it depends on what you post about. Sometimes I'll post something and get little or no response and other times I'll get a bunch of responses. People sometimes just don't know what to say about a certain topic. I'm guilty of doing it. I'll read a post but if I can't help then I don't respond. You shouldn't let it discourage you from posting on here though. Everyone is here to help each other out.

Sorry girls, I am just so busy at work. It's just I'll post things I need advice on and no one responds. It's just upsetting to me that's all.

I've had that happen too. Sometimes I get upset about it.. but I figured out the timing is EVERYTHING!! I will look at the bottom of the screen to see how many people are actually on the site.. when it's over 1000,, then I post.. You'll def get more responsed with more people on.

Just a tip I found worked for me.

dont get aggravated. i see that you are pretty new to the site, and most of the girls on 08 are already married and long gone. a lot of times people dont answer because the same thing is asked over and over again. you can try the search feature to answer your question, and 9 times out of 10 you'll probably find an answer.

I used to get aggravated too....especially because the type of things that are posted now would get like 20 repsonses earlier in the year and now you are lucky if you get 1 or 2....also there are some women on here that seem to be pretty popular and always get their stuff answered.....I guess it is what it is

I am def. going to check to see how many people are on....that could help :)
