VENT!!!!

I am getting so aggrivated and some of the LIW brides on here.

No offense to the ones who've been commenting me back and giving me advice on most of my posts.

I comment as much as I can, but I've noticed that a lot of people aren't returning advice, and it's starting to piss me off.

I don't find it very nice.

I am sorry that I am venting like this, but some of the people on here aren't very nice, and I read some of the comments on others peoples questions, and they aren't nice either.


I will put money on it that I am going to be receiving a ton of comments and not so nice ones on this one.

dont get aggravated. i see that you are pretty new to the site, and most of the girls on 08 are already married and long gone. a lot of times people dont answer because the same thing is asked over and over again. you can try the search feature to answer your question, and 9 times out of 10 you'll probably find an answer.

Can you maybe give us some examples of whats happening? I dont know but Im on this site a lot (as I have no life) and I regularly answer on the BHB section. Of course I only answer what I feel I really know the answer to. I dont think anyone is deliberately trying to ignore you.

I've had that happen too. Sometimes I get upset about it.. but I figured out the timing is EVERYTHING!! I will look at the bottom of the screen to see how many people are actually on the site.. when it's over 1000,, then I post.. You'll def get more responsed with more people on.

Just a tip I found worked for me.

I do try & post to people questions when I have an answer. but now a days, there is only certain times of days I pop on & I try to respond to what is on the first page maybe the second page soo sometimes I don't even see someone's post.

i think we all feel like this sometimes- but i agree with a pp that said its about timing- dont be afraid to bump your own thread if you dont get the answer you want the first time

I don't think anyone on here posts to be mean. Sorry you feel that way. Sometimes I'll put up a post and will only get 2-3 responses. Please do not take it personally. When I know about something I'll post and if not, I don't.

Sorry If I missed something.......but i was at work all day & just got home.

Ohhh my Mela.... dont you worry about.. there has been plenty of times that i have posted things and not gotten a response from anyone. It stinks that me and u are towards the end of the year.... last year at this time these boards were hoppin!!! Even at the start of this year. But unfortunately people get married and they leave this site.

Your best bet is to either post questions on BHB or even on the 09 boards.

it may help if your title is something that grabs everyone's attention....sometimes if it is an obscure question...people do not answer as much.
You tend to get the most posts on questions people relate to.

Stuff happens.

Sometimes people don't know the answer to something you've posted, or don't have experience making programs, or don't like David Beckham.

This site is probably the single most helpful wedding planning site out there for Long Island brides (and some NYC brides). Give it some time.

Honestly it depends when you post ... I have posted where no one answers and then times many people do...some things gain more interest. Also many times people do what is called 'BUMP' for another time during the day to get more responses.

Also its mutual...when I see posts from girls who have responded to me Im more inclinded to read theirs and respond....

Sometimes people dont know the answer to what you ask so they skip over your question. Maybe all the stress of wedding stuff and no one helping you is just making you extra sensative. Give the questions some time or post in like 08 brides posts most of them are married already and may be able to answer your questions.
