Vent

So FH has now made my 'Douche' list.

I went and met with the photographer last night.. The package for the video and photos would be around $5000. When I came home and mentioned that to FH hes like 'Are you kidding? Put some disposable cameras on the tables and make guests take pics.. thats rediculous' I'm like its freakin photes for the rest of our lives are you kidding??? Then he says ' Your making such a big deal over this.. We have kids already I don't understand why your turning this into a huge ordeal'.....

Wait' What!?!?!?!?!??! Seriously can you repeat that because I think my ears are clogged because what you just said sounded like a huge ******* remark right there!!!!!!!!


I am so pissed and have not talked to him.

Some guys just don't undesrstand all the planning and excitment during wedding planning. it shouldn't matter if you have children already... it's still your wedding...
I would book the photographer if it's one you really fell for...

Wow....I would feel the exact same way if my FH said that to me. You are 100% justified. I am sorry he said that. Does he know you are mad at him? Has he apologize??

No matter what I'm using this photographer.. I just have to figure out what package.

I'm not sure he knows because I refused to speak with him this morning.. I was still upset and I was very grumpy from lack of sleep..lol

I understand you 100%... i go home and get right on the computer.. I check my email responses from photographers.. and I tell my FH.. he just gives me those looks.. like.. OMG!! look.. but he learns to keep it shut.. lol! Im just working with him... I know he dosent want to spend $5k.. but he has said we have to have NICE pictures.. so im working with different packages and going a little under $5k so he and I can be happy.

Just look at your options.. if you can bring it down a little at all do so.. in the end he will be ok..

Men just don't understand. Sometimes I want to hit FH over the head with my shoe when he says certain things to me about the wedding, but I take a deep breath, curse at him in my head and just smile and then go ahead with my original wedding plans

Well I can unlimited proofs and ownerhsip of the pics on cd as well as 4x6 proofs for like $1700 but I want thank yous and digital albaums LMFAO and ofcorse video

LOL. Minus the kids part, FH has said the same thing. And I got a good deal on one of the best photographers out there and he is still b*tching. Whatever. I get my way and he has to deal with it.

However, children or not, photos is the ONE thing you shouldn't skimp on or toss aside. It's the only tangible thing you've got after all is said and done (except the gifts).

I completely agree.. He would be more then happy with getting married at the Justice of the peace and thats that.. Meanwhile I'm the one putting most money down on everythingggg, he can't save for anything. LOL I think I should get what I want as long as its not completely out of line you know? I'm a huge photo buff so I deff don't want to skimp on it. He *****
