FH's Boss still has not RSVP'd and FH keeps asking him and he keeps say oh i will let you know, i have to check. No our RSVP date was over 2 weeks ago, just say you arnt coming so we don't pay for you! I really have a feeling if he says he is coming he is not going to come come and i am going to have to pay for him. Him coming or not is holding up all my tables and getting my place cards done, bc if he doesn't come i need to i need to change tables around because there wont be enough people at his table to make a full table so then i have to have one big table!!!!

For our eng party we had people not rsvp or the flakey people who said yes but you knew werent going to show. We just took a few off and were able to pay at the end if anyone extra did show.. Maybe you can go under by a few???

I think you should have fh just say something like ' I need to know by the end of the day if your coming bc we're going to the RH tonight to make our final payment' Even though it's not true, maybe he'll take it more seriously.

To make it a little more sensitive just add a little 'I mean no disrespect but FW and I are going to the reception hall Friday and we need to give our final numbers. Would there be anyway to let us know by then? We have to give them the seating arrangements.' Hopefully that will move his a$$!

I agree w/ the suggestions above...maybe give your RH a lower figure and have FH speak w/ his boss. I do not think it is rude for him to say 'we are so excited for the wedding and hope you can make it - any progress on that? we are actually heading to the hall tn to give in our final count!' I think that is absolutely appropriate! Good luck!
